Louisiana Campus Preview Days (Fall & Spring)

These preview days provide Louisiana students and their families with a comprehensive and informative day on Tulane's campus, geared specifically toward Louisiana high school students. The program includes a campus tour, an admission and financial aid discussion, and a student panel.

Tulane Receptions (Fall & Spring)

Meet Tulane admission counselors when they come to you! Tulane hosts several receptions in cities throughout the world for interested students and their families each fall, and for admitted students each spring.

Destination Tulane (Spring)

All admitted students and their families are invited to attend Destination Tulane, a spring program that gives admitted students a comprehensive look at what life is like as a Tulane student.

  • Meet current students and other members of the incoming class
  • Tour Tulane's historic campus and eat in the dining hall
  • Get answers to many questions regarding academics, financial aid, and student life

Junior Nights--Tips for Applying to Selective Universities

The college admission process can be daunting and intimidating. Join members of the Office of ÃûÄ£Ö±²¥ at Tulane to learn tips for applying to selective universities and colleges, and join in on a candid discussion to demystify the college application process.

App Launch Event (Summer)

Join us for multiple virtual events over the summer leading to the launch of our ÃûÄ£Ö±²¥ application. Sessions will cover every aspect of the college application process including tips and tricks of applying to selective schools, advice on how to start your college search, what to consider when picking your major, and more. You can virtually tour campus and sit in on student and staff panels. We also offer a session called ‘You’re the Dean’ that allows participants to act as admission committee members of a fictional school and gain insight while they make decisions on fictional applicants.

Preview Tulane

PreviewTU is a visit program for all prospective students, particularly those who are first generation college students and/or students from limited or low-income families. Programming is tailored to share social and academic resources at Tulane and foster community for students. PTU allows students to connect with our Diversity Fellows, learn more about admissions and financial aid at Tulane, and connect with campus resources. This program is hosted by the Office of Undergraduate ÃûÄ£Ö±²¥ in collaboration with The Carolyn Barber Pierre Center for Intercultural Life, the The Office of Retention and Student Success, and the Office of International Students and Scholars, among others. We typically have a limited number of travel grants available to help lessen travel costs for students visiting Tulane’s campus for PreviewTU. Full grants will cover both a student’s flight and hotel costs, while partial grants can be used by students toward a flight or hotel costs, up to $500.

Bienvenue Tulane

BienvenueTU (BTU) is a visit program for admitted students (and their families!) designed to build community and meet the interests and needs of first generation college students and students who are from limited or low income families.
