Four Action Items for your First Year
1) Activate your Handshake account
Fill out your profile and update it regularly. is our go-to resource to find on-campus jobs, internships, research, and future jobs, engage with companies, network with students around the country, and attend career events.
2) Meet with Career Coaches and Peer Advisors
Meet with to explore majors, skills, and values to translate your TU experiences for future job and internship searches. Meet with one of our highly to tweak your resume/cover letter, navigate Handshake, and find opportunities to explore your interests with their support.
3) Earn college credit by registering for a Career Course
Students will explore the importance of developing a professional identity and concretely identify avenues to achieve career-related goals such as major declaration, securing internships, and preparing for a successful transition post-Tulane.

Attend to explore your interests, prepare for future opportunities, and build connections.
