Favorite NOLA Restaurant:
Ba Chi Canteen
Favorite Spot on Campus:
I鈥檓 partial to Dixon Theatre, where I spent a lot of my time as a student in the band and orchestra. It鈥檚 got beautiful architecture, and even if you鈥檙e not in the theatre itself, it鈥檚 a calm space to think and listen to distant music rehearsals.
My 鈥淥nly at Tulane鈥 Moment:
My junior year on the first day of class, my Spanish professor told the whole class that he was bringing us to dinner so we could all get to know each other. The next week, nearly everyone met up at Jacques-Imo鈥檚. We chatted about what his class would be like, where we were all from, and the research he had conducted. It was a great way to get to know everyone early, and it really made our class feel like a family.
My 鈥淥nly in New Orleans鈥 Moment:
The day I moved into my current neighborhood, my new neighbor introduced me to everyone who lived within 3 houses away from us. One of these introductions included both a human and his macaw. The macaw likes to hang out in the live oak trees on our street, so I always know it鈥檒l be a sunny day when I wake up and hear unusual squawking across the street. Sometimes he wanders off, and inevitably someone in the neighborhood spots him and gets him back to his favorite oak tree.
My Best College Search Process Tip:
My number one tip is to find your 名模直播 Counselor and contact them as soon as you do! If you鈥檝e got questions, then don鈥檛 be afraid to ask. Looking back on my college search process, I realize how much I missed by not knowing I even had an 名模直播 Counselor. So while the internet has some great resources (shout out to Jeff鈥檚 blog!), remember that you can also have one-on-one conversations to really figure things out.
